Pastel’s Imaginarium

Pastel’s Imaginarium – a travelling theatre and curiosity collection – has arrived in the Greater Toronto Area! Piloted by the illustrious trio Pastel, Bebung and Snippet, join them as they explore local parks and festivals. Theirs is the realm of the imagination: what sorts of things will you find when you visit the Imaginarium?

Filled with humour, music and non-verbal storytelling, Pastel’s Imaginarium will draw on techniques from clown, mime, dance and puppetry to create a site-specific spectacle for audiences of all ages.

This project couldn’t have happened without the support of the Wee Festival. Big thanks to Linda and the Wee Festival team who allowed us to explore and create this piece of wandering whimsy.

We also want to thank the Guild Festival Theatre & Family Fest @ the Guild for bringing the Imaginarium out to Scarborough. We had the best time wandering your grounds and interacting with everyone.

Special thanks go to the Port Credit BIA for hosting the Imaginarium at the Port Credit Lighthouse and to Clay & Paper Theatre for creating an impromptu mini-day of celebration at Dufferin Grove park.
