My characters and clowns animate events and spaces nationally and internationally, often linked with local festivals. I offer a variety of classes and workshops including: movement for actors/dancers (including Laban, Viewpoints & composition work); ensemble building; improvisation; character & clown; object puppetry; writing circle.
Available for movement direction and consultations focusing on character, clown and mask work, choreography, puppetry and object manipulation (including large puppets), as well as outdoor and site-specific work.
Working with communities, long-term care facilities and private clients, therapeutic clowning is, as Helen Donnelly defines it, “an arts-based practice […] designed to reduce stress, restore a sense of control and dignity, and celebrate the personhood of each individual regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations.”
