The Story of Small Arms

2016 / Durational Performance, Mississauga

By Andrew Gaboury & Alaine Hutton

The Story of Small Arms was a wandering performance designed to animate the derelict Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga for the inaugural In Situ Festival by Creativehub 1352 (then named the Small Arms Society).

An explorer seeks to discover and document the forgotten history of this building but an enigmatic guardian blocks his path, wary of greedy hands. As these two characters wander the festival, will they finally come to respect one another?
