Add Friend @ the Hamilton Fringe

Over the last couple months, I’ve been working closely with Andrew Cromwell to hash out the theory, or, rather, the wonder that inspires our new show, Add Friend. The concept for this piece originated from the everyday balance (or lack of balance) between our online and offline lives. We question how we are defining, and being defined by what we put online and how easy it is to access everything about anything at all times.

Add Friend has been developed over the internet, and now it is ready to be presented to you as part of the Gallery Mini-Series at the 2014 Hamilton Fringe Festival.

changes.

Lots of things are happening here at a field of crowns.

Outside of the a field of crowns label, I’m currently rehearsing three shows with three amazing companies (Foo Productions, Frog in Hand and Shakespeare BASH’d). With a field of crowns, I’m also in the early creative stages of a new show, Add Friend, co-created with artist Andrew Cromwell. Add Friend will premiere as a Gallery play for the 2014 Hamilton Fringe Festival.

After this, I’m going to be bring a field of crowns to the next level. What does that mean? I’ll have more about that soon.

Until then, I hope to see you on stage!
